The Val’kyr would use two blades in battle, but the Ranger would continue to use the bows they won from the raids and be geared accordingly. The theme would be heavily based of Sylvanas, her Val’kyr warriors / their bond. It would grant the player a unique reversed Pet+ control function which allowed them to control both their Ranger and a Val’kyr. This seems the best way to have a “ranged” Tank. Heavily based off the Edge of Night lore, this would be Sylvanas’ spec. The Dark Ranger would use death magic and necromancy to protect their allies and bolster their shield sister. This is Alleria’s spec.ģ.) Dark Ranger- (Tank): Summons a Val’kyr with which you share a bond, to defend allies. Said class would wear mail armor, and fill 3 specific roles.ġ.) The Class could be called Ranger itself, and while not taking from Marksman Hunters. Personally I’d love a class that was a mystic Archer and didn’t mess with pets at all ( aside from the Tank Spec ), but rather used 3 distinctive schools of magic.
